About Us

Continuum Environment and Resource Systems Pty Ltd (Continuum ERS) was formed at the start of 2020. The business was immediately engaged by key clients in meat processing on business critical projects with a value of $5-20 million.

Since hitting the ground running we have delivered work for clients spanning the following:

  • Development of environmental management plans for manufacturing sites;
  • Development of erosion and sediment control plans for construction projects;
  • Wastewater system operation troubleshooting for anaerobic digestion for major manufacturing sites;
  • Environmental impact assessment for developments from small scale feedlots to manufacturing site expansions;
  • Development application support for businesses;
  • Development of management plans for the beneficial reuse of effluent and irrigation;
  • Client side management of project tender processes;
  • Project budget and business case development for process and energy projects.

Our business is simple. We are a professional services provider in sustainability and project management. What sets us apart is responsiveness to client needs and real operational experience. We don’t sell consultants reports by the kilo, we deliver real business outcomes for our clients.

Continuum ERS is proudly based in Tamworth in regional NSW and we wouldn’t want to be based anywhere else. We can deliver outcomes for any business, but we love helping regional businesses improve their sustainability performance.

We don't have values, we have standards.

Our standards for behaviour include transparency, fairness and making decisions based on evidence.

We expect a lot from our employees, because we want to deliver a lot for clients. Our standards for action are based around professional competency, responsiveness, and a focus on client needs and business outcomes.

Continuum ERS employees are:

Transparent
Open around what they are doing and what is happening both internally and in interaction with clients.

Responsive
Get back to people. Identify, communicate and meet clear timeframes. Do what we say we are going to do. Always follow up.

Respectful
Respect people’s time. Respect (even if you don’t accept) people’s point of view as their truth at that time. Listen to people carefully to understand their needs. Remember that both candour and tact can be depending on the situation.

Fair
Be fair and reasonable in your dealings. Accept responsibility for the results of your actions and hold others accountable for results of theirs. Celebrate wins and acknowledge the learning in a tough beat. Being fair includes delivering fair value for clients.

Evidence Based
Critically appraise data and information, make internal business decisions and management recommendations to clients based on evidence and analysis. Avoid emotion, ego, and exaggeration and the distortion that comes with them. Start from ‘what it really is’ not ‘what we would like it to be’.

Continuum ERS employees will:

  • Only commit the business to work within its combined professional capability.
  • Be upfront and crystal clear around the costs and structure of payment for work.
  • Respect client and supplier information and confidentiality.
  • Keep a wide view of the client’s opportunity or problem. Where appropriate, develop and assess alternative options to deliver the required result.
  • Be rigorous on process and detail AND remain focussed on overall business outcome.
  • Respond to client inquiry or request on the same day it is made (even if to identify time to get back to client).
  • Contact clients at least once per week during the course of work and inform them of progress on their project.
  • Always call first instead of email unless there is a specific reason not to (internally and for clients). Phones are a good tool for getting things resolved quickly.
  • Treat problems, mistakes, bad news and other calamities with calmness and a view to a solution. Avoid blame. Avoid post mortem where there is a live problem.
  • Check work before it goes to the client. Must be consistent with scope of work, rigorous, complete, accurate and ‘look right’.
